Tahoe National Forest officials will share current information during the September 9, 2013 Foresthill Forum that begins at 7 p.m. at the Foresthill Veteran’s Memorial Hall.
Location: Northeast of Foresthill, California, in Placer County
Size: 27,440 acres Containment: 100 percent as of 8/29/2013
Resources: Approximately 260 personnel, including hand crews and those operating chippers, dozers, engines, excavators, and water tenders.
Start Date: 8/10/2013 Cause: Under Investigation
